Chile Line Brewery
About This Spot
Stepping into Chile Line Brewery feels like uncovering a quietly spirited corner of Santa Fe’s vibrant craft scene—a snug, unpretentious spot where the hum of conversation blends with the welcoming clinks of glasses. Nestled just a stone’s throw from the bustle of Guadalupe Street, this brewery offers an intimate pace and a cozy atmosphere that invites both locals and travelers to linger and savor more than just a drink.
Inside, the space is modest but thoughtfully arranged, where the bar’s warm wood tones and the subtle glow of ambient lighting encourage a relaxed, almost homey mood. There’s a quaint little patio that catches the soft Santa Fe sun, making it an ideal nook for quiet afternoons or mellow evenings. It’s the kind of place where conversations flow naturally, and the attentive, genuinely friendly service makes each guest feel like part of an extended gathering.
What truly shapes the experience here is the distinctly regional flavor woven through their offerings. The brewery’s creative take on locally inspired beers—think smoked dark lagers with a punch of green or red chile—is a quiet nod to New Mexico’s bold culinary spirit. Rather than just ordering a drink, visitors find themselves exploring an evolving palette of craft beers that surprise and satisfy, from tart sours to deeply brewed stouts, often accompanied by thoughtfully paired bites that bring a touch of shared joy to the table.
Chile Line feels less like a destination and more like a discovery. The intimacy of the setting combined with the depth of craft and care behind every pour creates a gentle invitation to slow down and connect—with new flavors, new friends, and the subtle heartbeat of Santa Fe itself.

What a neat little find. This place is a hidden gem in Santa Fe. We went here after dinner one evening and had some of the most amazing beers. My wife loved the sour flight. The little patio is so quaint. Thanks for Chris and Adderson for taking care of us. Love the swag.

I've visited many cities and I always like to try local breweries in different places. Chile Line Brewery is by far the most unique brewery I've been to. Their smoked and chile flavored beers are must a try. Staff is very friendly. Antonio was our server. Super friendly fellow, he let us try all different beers, even showed us the process of canning and brewery. Canned a fresh beer right in front of us for Togo. Also have delicious fresh wood fired. I wasn't even hungry, was only there to buy few beers, but Antonio praised the pizza so much and told me if I don't like, I don't have to pay. So ordered one pizza as well - right decision indeed! Also met the the owner while I was, Alexander, a young hip fellow. Had a good conversation, exclusive brewery tour. Overall pretty good experience. Must stop when you're in Santa Fe!!

Loved this place! So happy I found it searching online for craft beer places. Diverse selection of own brewed beers. You have to try the Red Chili or Green Chili (spicier) beers. They are on a base of smoked dark German lager. Option for 4 x 4 oz flights. Service from Alexander was great. Totally recommend if you like your craft beers!

Good little brewery. Address is confusing - don't park at the pizza shop, it has its own parking. Very wide variety of beer for a small brewery, and very flavorful. The cherry sour is a LOT of cherry; the chocolate stout tastes like pure chocolate; the red chili beer tastes like so much chili you could smother your lunch with it and all would be well. You get the idea. Overall, solid litte brewery.

On a recent day trip to Santa Fe we were looking (like we always do) for a local brewery. It's kinda my thing. The wife found Chili Line and *whoosh* off we went. Chili Line is a small place, but very cozy. It occupies an unassuming spot along the road right next door to Lino's Trattoria & Pizzeria. We were just there for the beer so we sat in the bar. It's tiny, with only two tables, and a few stools at the bar. Jessica was our server so she directed us to the online beer menu. I ordered a flight of 4 beer (with the help of Congo), and they were all REALLY good. One of the things I absolutely LOVED about Chili Line was that smoked beers. I love a good smoked beer, be it an ale, stout, or lager. There's something about a smoke brew that is unique and makes it stand out from other beer. Chili Line is a CLEAR standout when it comes to smoked brews, and definitely The Best I've had. Jessica was awesome. She didn't mind engaging in conversation and helping us make beer choices. We also swapped a few tattoo stories (which is awesome) and helped me decide which merchandise to purchase. It was a short visit (maybe an hour), but it was great. Chili Line is a very cozy, relaxed place. Some breweries go for the hype, but not here. Just a quiet place to hang out and drink some excellent smoked brews. I'll be back. You've been warned.

Fun lil place! Beer is good and weird which is the best. Several Smokey and pepper infuse options to make this place very unique. Not your run of the mill options but that’s what makes it worth stopping by.
